Hey y’all, I’m Adrienne but my friends (and cookie fans) call me Adra! I’m the owner, baker, and social media gal behind Adra Bakes, a home-based cottage bakery now baking fresh in Thornton, Colorado after relocating from sunny Northeast Florida in 2025.

Yep, this Florida girl is still adjusting to the cold! ❄️😅

When I’m not elbow-deep in royal icing or mixing up cookie dough, you’ll find me hanging with my husband, our grown-up son, and our very spoiled pups Westin and Brooke. I’m also a bit of a gambling cruiser. Give me a slot machine and an ocean breeze, and I’m in my happy place. 🎰🚢🐾

🍰 From Bundt Cakes to Royal Icing Dreams

I launched Adra Bakes in 2022 with mini and full-sized Bundt cakes, but once I discovered sugar cookies and royal icing, there was no turning back! In 2024, I expanded into custom-decorated cookies and cookie decorating classes. I absolutely LOVE what I do.

Prior to my small biz, I worked in corporate America. That was where I discovered my love for Excel spreadsheets that I utilize to this day. My home spreadsheet budget would blow your mind. 😏
